TAKE NOTICE, that a Special Board Meeting of the Hudson County Improvement Authority (the Authority) has been scheduled for Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-1 et seq. Due to the ongoing State of Emergency and evolving health and safety guidance regarding COVID-19, the Authority’s Board Meeting Room located at 830 Bergen Avenue – 9th Floor, Jersey City, New Jersey remains closed to the public.

The meeting will be conducted remotely, via ZOOM virtual meeting technology. The public is directed to the Authority’s Website at: www.hcia.org for live public access to the meeting audio and video stream and directions for public comment. If you are a member of the public and wish to participate in the opportunity for public comment on agenda items at the start of the meeting, the following are instructions to comment via Zoom Audio:

  1. Join the meeting using one of the options above. Online participants can “raise their hand” by clicking an icon that will appear on the screen if they wish to comment at the start of the meeting. Those participating by phone may press *9 to “raise their hand”.
  2. All microphones of public speakers will be muted except during the public comment portion of the meeting. The moderator will recognize any public participant who has clicked the “Raise Hand” icon. When you hear your name announced during the public comment portion of the meeting, you may address the Commissioners. After a speaker’s time expires, that individual’s microphone will again be muted. Each public user will have the capability to participate via audio only.

The Authority policy is to hear public comment on all agenda items at the start of the meeting. A copy of the meeting agenda may be found on the Authority website.
