In accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq., (the “Act”) the Hudson County Improvement Authority (the “Authority”) the Regularly Scheduled Monthly meetings will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 5:30 pm. Junior Master Composters is an opportunity for teens to learn about reducing food waste, making compost, and spearheading change in their own communities. Managing compost helps our community and our planet by preventing food and other materials from ending up in the landfill.
This year, the HCIA is collecting pumpkins and gourds in 4 locations in our county parks on Nov 6th and Nov 13th.
The pumpkins and gourds will be collected and sent to an organics waste facility in Elizabeth, NJ to create biogas for energy!
Feel free to go on foot or take your car, parking lots will be properly marked. Collection is between 9 am and 2 pm.
Due to Covid-19, contactless pick-up from the trunk of your vehicle can be accommodated.
Painted and carved pumpkins will be accepted.
The Opening of Submissions received by the Hudson County Improvement Authority (the “Authority”) pursuant to a Request for Qualifications for Legal & Non-Legal Professional services is scheduled for Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 11:15 am and will be conducted via the ZoomGov virtual webinar service at the scheduled date and time.
