In accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq., (the “Act”) the Hudson County Improvement Authority (the “Authority”) the Regularly Scheduled Monthly meetings will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 5:30 pm. This year, the HCIA is collecting pumpkins and gourds in 4 locations in our county parks on Nov 6th and Nov 13th.

The pumpkins and gourds will be collected and sent to an organics waste facility in Elizabeth, NJ to create biogas for energy!

Feel free to go on foot or take your car, parking lots will be properly marked. Collection is between 9 am and 2 pm.

Due to Covid-19, contactless pick-up from the trunk of your vehicle can be accommodated.

Painted and carved pumpkins will be accepted.
